Pirates of the Caribbean 3:At World's End Review

Last night I got to be one of the few lucky people,along with my friend,to see Pirates of the Caribbean 3:At World's End 4 hours before it came in theaters everywhere.This time unlike Spider-Man 3 there where teens and adults at the theater instead of 5-year olds.There might have been some though if the showing was not at 8:00 PM.

The movie had more violence and blood than the first 2.It was far better than the other 2 with story and special effects.In this film the crew of Jack Sparrow must save their humorous Captain from Davy Jones' Locker.It also features Keith Richards as Jack Sparrow's father.(Johnny Depp based Jack Sparrow on Keith Richards).I would recommend this film for tweens and above.Savvy?

Pan American Festival

Yesterday I went to the Pan American Festival,which is held every year,to be in the flag ceremony and serve hamburgers.The Pan American Festival is a Mother's Day weekend festival to celebrate the Pan American Countries.There is a big flag ceremony that my troop gets to do every year and we also get to cook and serve hamburgers as a fundraiser.

In the past I have picked other flags to carry in the ceremony such as Mexico, Guatemala, and St. Vincent.This year I chose Peru as my flag to carry.The only problem was that they never called my name to the stage from the side instead I had to run with my flag along with one of the last flags.Also,I was elected Troop Historian this year so I got to take pictures of the event.I still had fun though.
