Well its been yet another month since I have blogged. I keep meaning to do this more but I am always too busy or lazy to do so. You will now find that I am not updating My Flick Reviews any further but it will be still available where it is now if you want to read any of the old posts.
Now any new movie reviews that I decide that I want to do will be found here on this blog. My blog is now actually retitled to "The Blog of EN". I may change it again later but that is what I have picked right now. I don't hate the old name but I thought it was time for a new name. If you have a suggestion then please let me know and maybe I will consider it. =)

As Mad as a Hatter

I have been waiting and highly anticipating the new Alice in Wonderland for a while now and it has been finally released this weekend though I found it a bit disappointing (If you would like to read my review of this film you can see it here at "My Flick Reviews"). Working at a movie theater, we have been trying to pump up the movie with different aspects of decorating the theater and also allowing the employees to wear a crazy hat on opening weekend. This weekend I happened to get the duty of taking tickets at the door and directing people where to go and so I brought a classic "Cat in the Hat" hat to wear and I actually had a lot of customers saying that they liked it (though I also got a lot of odd looks).
I also bought a copy of a CD with songs based off of Danny Elfman's music on the film and the film itself called "Almost Alice". Even thought there are a few annoying songs I would suggest you pick it up if you like pop-punk type of music. Also the Hot Topic version comtains a few bonus tracks for the same price.
Throughout the day yesterday I had a large amount of the guests come up to me asking which theater to go to see Alice. Some actually asked for "Wizard of Oz" in 3D and a surprising amount of people asked me were the "Cat in the Hat" was playing. I am guessing that my hat was taking some of the customer's mind off of what they were going to say. I'm not exactly sure how "The Wizard of Oz" came to mind since it came out way back in 1939 but I suppose that it could be mistaken as another whimsical adventure movie.

Oh Harmonica!
Today I went on a bike trip to the mall and purchased a gift for my younger brother's birthday. While I was there I also went to Guitar Center and purchased a harmonica and a beginners book on how to play it. I have been playing it off and on today. Though being new at the instrument I have made some progress in learning some basics and also a few songs. I am hoping to get better at it and maybe buy a better quality one in the future. I know that I have some mess-ups in this video but I made just for documentation so that someday I can look back and hopefully see how much better I am.
Oh and I also got a new haircut today!

I Gotta Doppleganger Feeling!
Earlier today I had a Spanish class and right before our first test, my class was treated to a "unique treat". I forget exactly how it came up but my Spanish professor said a sentence with the words "well I just have a feeling". From there he said "Oh wait, that reminds me of a song I like. I gotta feeling! That tonight is gonna be a good night" he then proceeded to sing more of the song to the laughing class. Because of his accent it made the whole thing a lot funnier. It was like hearing a mariachi band do a cover of the Black Eyed Peas Song "I Gotta Feeling".
This week is apparently also Doppleganger week on Facebook. I get a lot of comments at my work on how I look like "Hiccup" from the movie "How To Train Your Dragon" which doesn't even come out for another month. I don't think I look completely like him but whatever.

When I was in my scout troop last year I had some people telling me that I looked like Drake Bell. Since I didn't even watch his show I hardly knew what he even looked like, but I can see how someone could think that now.

Hello my neglected blog readers!
Hello my unattended and neglected blog readers! It's been over a month since my last post so I decided to come back and do it with a bang. I will do my best to update last year's "Hey You, Look at These Pictures!" blog but will not continue my posts on "My Flick Reviews". I have not written a post truly about me in a while so here are some (somewhat) new facts about myself right now.
I just earned my license a few days before Christmas!
I am still working at the movie theater.
I recently bought an iPod Touch. Now I am saving up for my own car.
My favorite store, Lighthouse Christian Bookstores, just closed down. On the bright side I was able to get a nice stack of CD's, magazines, and posters and a very low price.
I have started my next semester of college classes while in my Junior year of high school. I am taking Spanish and tennis courses.
My current favorite CD is "Forget and Not Slow Down" by Relient k and favorite song is "Chem 6A" by Switchfoot
"The Lovely Bones" and "The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus" are my two favorite new movies right now. "Avatar" is definitely not.
It is very cold and raining/hailing here in Southern California. In fact yesterday I had to go chase neighborhood trash cans that were floating down the street in knee-high waters. Kinda fun.
That is all I can think of for now. A lot of changes in my life are about to happen so I will keep this web space occupied with the words translated from my head.
